Ocean Liner problems

So I downloaded a mod, called DB I think, and manually extracted the Ocean Liner from the list of ships (I couldn't use FLMM because my game is manually modded a lot), and I've noticed a few problems. First and foremost, the controls are weird. By that, I mean that if you go into mouse flight, or any flight mode other then the cockpit, the ship controls "slippery". I originally thought the controls were inverted, but up is up and down is still down, it's just when you hold either of these directions the ship spins wildly out of control, until you stop. I took a look at the shiparch entry, and it's missing a strafe force addition, so that might be the problem.

Also, the ship is missing shield hardpoints, so how can I add them? Thanks.

No, I don't want to use FLMM, I've been modding the game for almost a year now, and I can't remember every little thing that I've put manually into the game. The Ocean Liner is in the game, it works, the controls and shields are the problem. It didn't come with shield hardpoints, and I don't know what would cause the thing to control like it does, cause I fixed the strafe force to no effect.

Sorry this reply is a month later but...

Have you tried defining the ship as FREIGHTER instead of CAPITAL in shiparch.ini? I had the same problem until I redefined the ship type. Hope this helps!
