NPC Capitalship problem

I got a very interesting problem with new weapons on a Libert Dreadnought...
I made some Flak Lasers and some Beam Lasers for the ship, but the NPCs wont use the Beam Lasers at all...
i tried them on my own ship and they work perfect... i lowerd the refire rate to 0.12 -> 8.33 but no result... then i tried with the gun_style set in the pilots population and set only burst fire, but they still dont use the guns...
so I put Flak lasers on all the HPs... without a result... it seems as the AI isnt using certain gunslots...
but why?
