I am making invisible ships....grrrrrr - HELP!

Modeller: Milkshape 1.6.6

I am making some ships from scratch, just because. I have a problem, a consistent one.

I know the sizing is correct, the ini's are correct, and so on, but my ships are invisible. Not even sure where to start on this one. I would be happy to email the files to anyone willing to take a look.

Thanks!

Either it's too big or too small, your ship.

Try changing size. In Milkshape, the best size is, when zooming out to maximum and the the ship is just a littel bigger, so it is not totally seen in max-zoom-out.

Try setting your LOD (level of detail) equivalent to 0, 99999. that should fixed up the invisible ships.

or

make sure the Hp/Fixed/HpMount position is below your ship's model.

AFAIK--- when ship is too small you can still see the weapons. If it is too big you can still see some loadouts. If it is tooooo big then that is the proble... rescale it.

Try making it buyable in planets - like Planet Manhattan - it has a good view of those ships that are being sold.

Thanks Sub, et al.

The scale appears to be correct. When I zoom all the way out, I can barely make out my ship completely in the viewer window.

HPMount is located below the lowest point on the ship, with plenty of room to allow clearance between the ship and the landing site.

I would appreciate it if I could send someone (**cough** Sub **cough**) the pertinent files to review and then go from there...

I dont use Aim, but I do have an ICQ (#190312229) and MSN IM ([email protected]) - and I am always on.

Thanks for the advice all.
