FLE issues...Help Please.

I am currently attempting to create new systems, and I am having some difficulties doing this with FLE.

Here is what’s going on…

I will create a script.xml in my mod folder and insert the correct information in there.
I will open FLE and then right click a part of the map that I want to insert a new system. I will create sun, planets bases….. and so on. Anyways after creating all that good stuff and the jump gates are in place I will apply and save changes and then exit the program.

I will then activate the mod with FLMM and enter a game and take the jump gate to my system, yet there is something interesting, the name is missing off the jump gate.
All that bases and planets have lost names as well.

Alright back to FLE we go to take a look, Sure enough everything that had a name is now unnamed.

On a slightly stranger note. When I mouse over the system in the universe view it also has lost its name and its displaying the same as the new york system would if I held my mouse over it.

Any Suggestions???

You are missing infocard entries. FLE can create them but puts them in a dll file so you have to make sure that dll is included in your mod.

Aye - put the extra line in the freelancer.ini file for you custom dll to show up.

oh - here is an example, aint i nice

DLL = my_mod.dll

okay - slap that at the end of the

[Resources
DLL = InfoCards.dll ; Contains all infocard text resources
DLL = MiscText.dll ; Contains other bulk text resource: rumor, offer, and mission text
DLL = NameResources.dll ; Contains names of things, primarily.
DLL = EquipResources.dll ;Contains names of equipment (in string table) and infocards for equipment (in HTML resources)
DLL = OfferBribeResources.dll ; Contains random mission offers and bribes
DLL = MiscTextInfo2.dll ;Contains MP UI elements as well as other misc. text

part in Freelancer.ini file, ye shall see thine infocard names then

Alright, this might be another problem, FLE stated that it’s creating a DLL file and I can not seem to locate it anywhere on my computer, this could be an issue.

Witch leaves me to believe that I need to create this dll myself or copy the freelancer.ini file into my MOD directory and then add the extra resource.
Please do tell me if I am incorrect.
Now, if I need to create that DLL that is going to be a pain in the ass lol.
I do have resource hacker though so I can probably manage it.
But some help would be appreciated.

Thanks again.

When you save your mod it writes the dll to your flmm mod directory. So you would find it in flmm\mods\yourmod\dll

Alright, this could be the problem, its not creating the DLL Files. Also sometimes when I save I am getting a error that it cannot find C:\TEMP yet that folder exists.
Perhaps my install of Freelancer explorer is damaged or something.

Alright that is good to know, now as for the part of it not actually creating DLL files for me. Is this related? or do I have another issue on my hands?

Thanks again for all the help.
