How do you want to change her outfit... do you want to re skin it? or just change it to another out fit from in the game?

Well I wanted to creat a whole new costume but if it's really hard then I could stand to just change it.

I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members.

yes u can do so...and I tell u how
-dl the utf-editor
-open the body-file of juni with it (/DATA/CHARACTERS/BODIES/li_hatcher_body.*)
-go to the textures section and extract them
-use a graphics prog to alter them (i.e. PSP8.0 , Photoshop and such...)
-import the altered textures back to juni's body-file and u should be done...

That was from Blaxxer in the thread that you already know about. Download the UTF editor, open the body file of juni with ti - which he has provided the location of there, then click on the trees until you find where the textures are and extract them. Alter in PS or other applications that can handle them, then reimport.

To change them round - its in the costumes.ini file. Juni is under the nickname of juni. You can only change it with female bodies etc, which is what the costumes are. Find other females in the costume.ini file and have fun.

Its in characters folder in DATA folder of freelancer. Juni is:

nickname = juni
head = pl_female4_head
body = li_hatcher_body
righthand = benchmark_female_hand_right
lefthand = benchmark_female_hand_left

To change what she wares change the body line. Make sure its one of the others though. Look for female ones, like

[Costume
nickname = ore_runner_female_1
head = sh_female2_head_gen
body = pl_female2_journeyman_body
righthand = benchmark_female_hand_right
lefthand = benchmark_female_hand_left

Usually they say female in the lines - but often only one part will - like the head or something. Change those around and see the effects. After a while step it up with some parts - like trying to change the actual costumes yourself - as per blaxxers instructions.

About retexturing is mostly right there is a step missing. Got to EDITSON Trent Thread I wrote the complete way to retexture any costume part in FL....

Id like to add that, if you dont get an imeadiate answer in a existing thread, dont make a new thread asking the same question. ive seen people making 3 threads with identical issues. if you want answers quick, goto IRC. But please dont flood the place. thats all

a double check here, If I understand right,

[Costume
nickname = juni
head = pl_female4_head

body = li_hatcher_body ...I change this line to....
body = pl _female2_journeyman_body

righthand = benchmark_female_hand_right
lefthand = benchmark_female_hand_left

and that will change juni's costume to one of the other game costumes until I or someone else has the time to crank out a skool girl outfit. correct?
