Is it just me, or does anyone else see something odd about howz come you can't buy a ship at a SHIP YARD?

I would have thought by now you modders would have been all over that one.

Also, if anyone is planning to build an "empire" type mod, that the shipyards would be a great place to buy bases, large cruisers, stations, etc.

Just a thought..... :-)

In TNG you can indeed buy ships at the ship yards. Cap ships too.
