does it work to make the hole's exit in something like an asteroid so you can get out but not back in?

Acuttaly this isn't as daunting as one might think, you simply need to make one jump hole *the one that works* like you would normal, but the non working jumphole just needs to be a nodock type of object. No docks are found in a few places, for example the dreadnaught you see 'docked' to norfolk is a good example of a nodock. You will need to make a new solararch of a jumphole that is nodock and this will mean you you will need a new cmp file *not hard just make a copy of a standard jumphole's cmp and mat files and just give it a new name* add the new entry and add you nodock jump hole with the appropiate nick. It should work, I havn't tested it *a 'one way jumphole theroy' but I have made a nodock jumphole, so i don't see why it would. Hope that helps.

Oh - his idea is better and easier too. Leave it as that.

Mine was making in whatever file (initial world file or something) lock it one way only - it might be in the newplayer file or mpplayer file or something

Nodock yes thats a good idea.

I answered a question like this via email, I should have remembered the nodock line. Not tested it my self but it sounds like a nice neat solution to me.

You can also make stsndard jump hole/gate pair and then link the second one to itself. (it is one line in the ini file) See The Pinball mod for a different versions of jump hole linking.
