how to change the ship juni gives you?

I tried to change it in m01a.ini "ge_fighter, msn_playerloadout" to an eagle
"ge_fighter6 etc..."

what was false now? (either the "ge_fighter6" or that I only changed it in "m01a.ini"

can u help me plz?

Easiest thing to do is download the IONCROSS character editor and use that.

Yeah, but how do we do it by .ini editing?

What file is the start ship type and equipment stored in?

you can never change the starting ship at the equipment room, its default... i think. tried it many times. but the ge_fighter, msnplayerloadout you can change. if you change this be sure that you typed the correct shiparc of your ship.

ex.

ge_fighter6, ge_fighter6loadout.

you must create this ge_fighter6loadout or modify the existing msnplayerloadout. including the one with faux suffix, i think, that will be equivalent to that supposedly the correct loadout of the eagle.

look-up for the npcships.ini in that same directory as the m01a.ini
there are numerous entries that corresponds to the starting ship. replace those and you will get your starting ship. without any problem.

of course juni will still give you the starflier in the equipment room scene, but when you are at the cityscape you will have your chosen ship already park there.
