Fled-ids problem

whenever i try to run it i get this:
Run-time error '52':

Bad file name or number
i have all the latest VB, and VC++ runtimes, and unzipped it into h:\games\fledids\ (FL is installed on H:\ if that means anything) any clue as to what's causing it?

maybe you've got a currupted file, try downloading it again. and for the directory, as far as i know, it doesn't have to be in fl's directory. it only needs that fl is installed.

Make sure you got some DLLs with the download.

unicows.dll must be in the same directory as fled ids.

I've redownloaded, unicows.dll IS in the same directory, i have already tried all of the suggestions. current runtimes, multiple downloads, tried unzipping into different places... this SUCKS

If anybody could e-mail me the 2(only one exe and dll right?) working files, i would greatly appriciate it, as well as text concerning platform, speed, ram, etc.

I've had the same problem. I found that if the FLMM mods are on when you are trying to work on something that is accessed by a mod that is activated, you will get the run error. That happens with BiniQDU as well. I have to turn off the mods and then I can do anything without a run error.

not it, i cant even load the program, doubleclick to open, then error, no program window or nothing. no mods activated
