Problems with MilkShape and CMP Files

Hi. I was wondering if somebody could give me some tips on editing the .CMP files in FL. Esentially, I have a fully registered version of MilkShape, and I have the .CMP importer and exporter. My problem is that after I import a ship and extract the textures (as .TGA) and make some basic changes and export my changes to a new .CMP file, the ship is invisible in FL. My assumption is that the textures are not being included in the saved file. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Regards,

Oghma.

(Spends hours reading through forums) Ah, I have to use the UTF editor to make the .MAT file! That should help. Let's see if it works...

Make sure your ship is upside down. and the scale is correct. and make sure Hp/Fixed/HpMount = below you ship's centerline.

Thanks, I'll try that. However I am unsure as to whether or not that is an issue as I have elected to re-texture the ships from FL, rather than create my own models. Interestingly, the UTF editor does not seem to allow me the option to rename the nodes. Mmm, I must be doing something wrong... (obviously) .
