Voyager ship mod

Voyager ship mod

I'd like to replay the SP campaign but with the Voyager ship mod this time. The problem is the ship is sold in Cortez and you don't have access to that system to purchase the ship. Is there some obvious way around this problem or could someone possibly suggest a solution?

look at the goods.ini then locate that voyager package if you know. Then set the price value of it to 1.

look at the marketships.ini... i think, goto base=li01_02 - Pittsburg.
entry --- type the following...

market_good = voyager_package, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1, 1

of course check the package name cuz i don't know the real package name of the voyager.

complete mission 1a then dock at pitsburg and buy the voyager.

or you can edit the mission ini's and look for this

ge_fighter, msnplayerloadout

ge_fighter ----> Ship Archetype
msnplayerloadout -----> edit this in loadout.ini it is the first line. it must conform with your voyager ship archetype, ie. engine, powerplant, weapon, shields, etc. it is the same as the ship package in the goods.ini except that the goods.ini has

addon = weapon, HpWeapon01

abd loadout.ini has

equip = weapon, HpWeapon01

get it.

As simple as that probably is, it still sounds confusing. Knowing me, I would mess something up. Any other solutions? Possibly something that just opens all jump gates right from the start? Or maybe someone has already edited voyager to sell somewhere else?
