Blank Canvas! Anyone?

Starting on a blank canvas? Is this possible..
I would like someone to show me how to start with just 1 Planet (manhatton) set in the dead center of the nav map (0,0,0).. which has docking ring, and only 1 ship (starflyer).
I have tried to set this up myself, but for some reason keep getting errors

From this i will b lookin to create my own universe.. I know how to add stuff, but so many files link, i find it impossible to remove stuff that already exists..

Please could someone start me on a blank canvas!

Due to the structure of the game, i don't think you can just 'wipe' everything out and start again..........i think the game don't like it too much. You can make addon systems and then make the sirius a 'link' off of them- but your nav map would be highly complex and jumbled!

use freelancer explorer to edit the planets

yeah freelancer xplorer is your best bet and its the easest thing to do too, so doing what u want wont be to hard u can delete the info of a preexisiting system if u want to or create a ew one which can be more interesting

i ben using explorer but for some reason when i remove all make a new system and then try to test it, the server runs, gives yellow errors etc, but the fl game gets to the Freelancer welome screen after the movies and then dies out

the explorer editor is much to be desired, it seems to work fine if you keep all the existing systems and just add systems to it, but if u remove any systems, it seems to cause big problems, when loading FL..
eg.. (something i did as a test)
removed all systems except NewYork (did this to keep base template, as you remove newyork, u lose li01_0x templates, infact u loose templates off all bases you delete)

added 1 system
added a jump hole from newyork to the new system

loaded mod up
loaded fl serv
loaded fl
loaded fine, but when trying to go through jump hole, it crashed..

im guessing this is because information from other systems i deleted was required for some reason, i think the designer of this editor has done a real good job, but he needs to concerntrate on making the editor work if you remove all systems, and start a fresh, im unsure if this is possible, but im sure it will be the best start for any system designer..
