These ideas have all, at some point or another, been suggested before (though perhaps not in the same thread). Some of them may well be released, too. You should really search the forums before you post something, because in all likelihood, you're idea isn't original. Don't mean to be harsh, but there IS a search forums button up near the top of the page. It's little, so it's use is unintentionally discouraged, as many people don't even realize it's there. But it is, and you should make use of it, it's quite the handy-dandy tool.

and on top of that their is a little function called ctrl+f. however, it requires the striking of two keys at once, so it is rarely used by people who are too lazy to bother with the search function...

Also, starting a new thread about this is your first time to the forum isn't the best way to endeer yourself to the community here. Another point, it takes a long time to make mods, so unless you can persuade someone to try ideas out for you, the chances of osmeone making mods from scratch are slim these days. Everyone is working on a project of some kind.........
also - read FAQ and other stickied threads before posting (especially the please read before making threads/posting etc) That is what they are there for, and obviuosly you will getresentment when it shows true lack of effort to look on your part before posting.

Render, while the others may be a bit tired of these type of posts and thus be conscending, your behaviour is not exactly what one would call polite either. If you cannot be realistic in your expectations and be nice when posting, expect to be ignored.

Sorry Render, last *polite* bit to make though, were you looking for someone to make the mod or not? I mean that cos did you expect just yes/no answers basically (not being nasty here - just determining the thread..) as to whether someone will do it? Also, if you wonder what i post here for, you may find out. Either a) Help, i post in relevant topics, if i need Giskards help, i post in one of his topics etc
b) help out, i have contributed to hundreds of threads explaining how to do things, i have also had numerous people come at me through MSN randomly asking for me to sort out their mod! I have done it in the past, and did it again the other day, however I am then treated like their own private mod bank, and i get bugged by them about 10 times a day with either chat or questions.

Render - check with a post called the Coallition strikes back - last i heard was that Born To Be Wild was making a mod with the starlancer ships as a possible import. I think he has nothing amazingly set in stone, and is open to suggestions - check him out if you liek - think its in the mod announcements forum!
