It's a missile launcher, that acts like a gun, and shoots out low-damage volleys in rapid-fire, like a machine gun. At least, that's what's *supposed* to happen ... I've been having trouble getting the thing to work in anything but single-shot mode, which means you have to click the mouse REALLY fast to get anything really impressive.

Ok, finished the VF1S. I replaced the GU11 with a hardpoint and placed 4 hardpoints under the wings (2 each). I was thinking about placing some missile hardpoints on those Rocket Boosters over the ship... the VF1S holds several missiles in the front part... however, the goal is to actually have the missiles placed INSIDE the boosters... I will look into it.
Meanwhile, I converted the Veritech Alpha. It still needs some hardpoints, however it's flyable.

Xinos, if you want to place missiles inside the booster, just place the hardpoints inside them and use this as the archetype:
DA_archetype = equipment\models\turret\li_cruiser_gun01.cmp
material_library = equipment\models\li_turret.mat
And set the force_gun_ori to true. You won't have a model for the launcher so it'll seem like the missiles are coming out of the boosters. If you have different ideas of what it is supposed to be, email me and i will see what i can do to help.
