Intro Music changing?

The general place to discuss MOD''ing Freelancer!

Sorry for bringing up a very old thread - But I can't do this for some reason.

I've been trying to add my own music into the game. I added the music files (in .wav format) to Data/Audio/Music, and put entries in the music.ini file.
next I went to Universe/Systems/Intro/Bases/Rooms and found the three room .ini's
I put a different music entry in each, all ones I had added. Now, when I load the game up, there just isn't any music - what can I do?
I've checked all the files loads of times, looked at other mods for help, asked friends - none could help me.

If anyone can get it sorted out, It'd be a great help.
Thanks
- L.D

Might be the encoding? I think it needs to be 22k mono mpeg layer 3. It would ne best to do the properies for the existing ones to make sure.
Then (if it is the wrong codec), open it inside soundrec.exe from the windows directory. Next do properies, and you can select the codec from the list.
Hopefully, that should work.
