Sugestion on new ship extras.

I've been modeling a few ships to add to freelancer, but I'd like to give them a few extras... the existing things in the ini's i can change no prob but it would be cool to add new stuff...and that i dunno how to do.

I'm talking about add on cloaking devices, cargo scan jammers, radar jammers, the ability to buy new engines like you do with thrusters, upgrade scanners, change cruise speed capabilities, hyper drives to travel to any adjancent system (1 use then have to stop at a base/planet to recharge).

I had this in mind for a rebalance mod i could manage to some extent. but those new additions are way out of my league. Either on my mod or maybe even for the possible new Wanderer Vs Leonhart mod. It would be great.

Anyone wants to work on this?

cargo scan jammers, radar jammers are 1 of those unfinished or abandoned things.

in the tutorials som1 posted a tutorial to make engines buyable but he doesnt know how to sell them.

i tried to upgrade a scanner and nothing happened

my cruise speed for 1 of my ships is really fast but all i did was upgrade the armor.... u can change the cruise speed constants but i dont know where that is cause its not in constants. but that will change all ships

the hyper drive thing..... i think there is a way.
but there is no way the fuel up thing is possble

I know the cloaking and jamming stuff won't work, and I don't know about the engines and scanners but the cruise speeds can only be changed for all ships ie, you can't make 1 ships faster than all the others. Add Cruising_speed=x under [EngineEquipConsts, anom_limits_max_velocity = x under [PhySysConsts in constants.ini. Change the x to whatever you want, tho 3000 makes it kinda hard to go through asteroid fields. Try setting it up to 10000, and watch as you pass through things

Yes you can make your engines buyable, and also make new engines, and scanners and tractors and power supplies, and armour upgrades........
