A Cowboy Bebop Mod.

Hey everyone i was wondering if you think it would be possible to do a mod based on the Cowboy bebop series?

If you havn't seen it there isn't much point replying,

But it is based on the solar system so i was thinking make the game a lot more in proportion, like make the planets huge, and the distances between them massive as well, then redo the whole current trade system and have it so like in the series the freighters are actutully small, but they attach thier cargo vessels to the back, this way you could take multiple ones, and eject and recolect your cargo transport if needed.

But more importantly, if you did illegal things t\you will start to get a bounty on your head which will get bigger and bigger.

So you would still have the police the bounty hunters the traders and of course the bad guys.

but maybe if you get killed in this mod you would have to start again, and you could introduce something like an escape pod incass you are getting hammered and need to bail.

Also with the planets because they are so big you would need multiple planet docking bays, but these would be to different cities of course.

I think it could be made into a really good mod, and just having to restart if you get killed would give the game more longetivity.

I've done some thinking into this, and based on what can be modded in the FL engine, I think it's possible. The only major changes would be to factions, ships, and system scale. Jump lanes are, apparently, pretty close to the CB ones. Currently, the swordfish is in development by leonhart.

All you would need is to make the actual Bebop and Faye's ship. I can't remember off the top of my head what Jet's looks like, but I suppose you could do his, too.

Xeno, I've got the reference pics for hammerhead and redtail. Will get to work on them soon as I finish with the swordfish.
