In the meantime, the premise of firing 30+ homing lasers at different angles out of a custom beam turret will have the priority now.

well the kamikazis did use human torpedoes. basically, they were torpedoes that had a human inside of it steering it into a ship. you could use a similar principal i suppose. although im not sure if the idea is morally right...

Ahh, a mini ship with an ultra short range missile (1m) with a large blast radius. That might work but who would want something like that?

the swarm effect is cool
when you have hundreds of mini fighters streaking around and enemies are dying right and left even though you're not firing a shot

A swarm effect is better when using missiles in my opinion. Nothing like seeing a fighter trying to outrun and outmaneuver 20+ missiles on his tail.
