In Game Difficulty Scale (ranktodiff/diff2money)
Ok, so I'm looking at npcranktodiff.ini and diff2money.ini in the hopes of fine-tuning the payoffs for random missions. Unfortunately, npcranktodiff.ini is a complete and total mess. Some people have hinted at having an understanding of these files, but it doesn't look like anyone's been able to come right out and explain them.

NpcRank = 1, 0.009850, 0.035690, 0.077540, 0.135390, 0.209230, 0.299080, 0.404930, 0.526770
Here's the standard first line from npcranktodiff.ini. The best I can tell, the numbers after 1, are the mission difficulties in which NPCs of rank 1 can appear in. Unfortunately, I haven't the slightest clue as to how those numbers (all of which are less than 1 in this case) corrolate to the actual in game difficulty scale.
I'm going to keep picking away at this, but any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
