ALL REVERSE ENGINERS & ALL GAMEHACKERS, I have a challen

Hi all,
in order to create a non-official Addon with my Team, I have encountered a problem. Of course an Addon should include new story elements. And here is it, the problem. All story missions are declared in the DLL content.dll (DLLS\BIN\content.dll), they are hardcoded. (the mission self is in the relative ini, I know, but the name of the INI is hardcoded)
I know it isn't possible to modify the DLL, but the question here is: Has anyone added a new mission, or knows anyone a workaround for it ?

I assure you, I'm not a newbie in modding. But I don't undersand a lot of Reverse Engineering, so PLEASE help me, you will get a wonderfull Addon as reward

I'm not sure about being not able to modify the dll file. I thought the ResHacker application handles that problem for you. And I also saw a compiler to create new dlls. This prolly didn't help you at all.

Check out FLSDK site. They have a set of utilities that might help you out if LR didn't have them already.

yes, there's Reshacker/Restuner that handles a special type of DLL s and Executables, but these programms can only modify the "Resources" of files. The content.dll above hasn' t any Resources, cuz it's a programm DLL with programCode ... Here I need someone that has figured out what code they used for it, so i can compile my own Dll...

Most people just hex edit it when they need too.

I'll give you some info about missions you may find handy.

They only use ships of the fighter class. If you make a Battleship or freighter a fighter class ship and setup a good difficulty level for it then suddenly you will see them in your missions.
