I just installed FLMM 1.2 on my computer. However, when i go to launch free lancer, it says i have in error in common.dll and dacom.dll. Can anyone shed some light ont this? I have a no cd crack for my freelancer, so i dont need the cd. Any ideas? I dont have the original CD. Unfortunately.
Here is an idea... BUY THE GAME!!!!!! I DID AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY CENT!
if you downloaded it from a website, or got a burnt copy off a friend, it is very possible that those files are corrupted and either the download or burn did not work, the only way to get a working version is to buy it you stingy person!
sorry everyone else about the vent, but I payed good money for my game, and dont like seeing idiots burn it leaveing it on the floor for a few days, gives it to a mate, and then they wonder why it won't work properly. I REALLY WONDER WHY.
If you had bought it, I might have answered your question, Hmm I think I did.

Sorry to say but the problem exists with the full version as well only some mods will work, you have to completely install your game and saves and re-install. if you dont want to do that then you need to edit your save game file after you have loaded in your mods. you need to delete your autosave and restart files, hopefully this helps it did for me m8!!
I had this problem too and doing what he says above worked for me even though I use a nocd crack.
BTW: It's wrong to assume he didn't pay for it since you can't really know. And anyways, some people, who like to play a lot of different games sporadically, don't like to have to keep swapping cd's. As in my situation, some people have old cd drives that make a lot of noise. I could buy a new drive, or get a nocd crack. The latter is faster, easier, quicker, and quieter.
And even if he didn't buy it, what do you care and who are you to attack him? It's not coming out of your pocket or the game developers' pockets, but rather the publisher Microsoft's. Quite honestly, I think they have enough money. I'm not condoning theft, but the prices of games are ridiculously inflated. Where do you think they get all the money to buy out the other companies and make them join their evergrowing family like for example EA. Kinda like a self perpetuating monpolistic disease; I don't support that at all. They pass on the costs of their constant expansion to us. And what's worse is the content of the games themselves is affected when publishers push unreasonable deadlines and ship games with bugs. Who here calls themself a serious gamer and hasn't enountered this situation? Large corporations are not good for the consumer, and that's the bottom line.
Defending another's greed is playing right into their hands. Or maybe you just shouldn't have said anything.
