I tried installing it but it wouldnt work. Any chance making it compatable with Flmm 1.2?

Did you read the readme ?

The dev version is not a ready to play version. Its a cut and paste into your own mod/original game release. So you have to manually add the parts your self. This is because the mods its made for will already have edited several of the same files so making it a new mod would simply overwrite the mod makers files.

Ringworld Addon V1 has now been released.

I have sent it to Lancers Reactor and uploaded it to my own site. Its a file for mod makers rather than players but because of the way ive made the mod it would be easy for somebody to make use of FLMM's Option 3 install method and make a mod out of it with their ships included.

I wont be doing it but if anybody else wants to feel free.

Any questions regarding customising Ringworld or installing it can be posted in this thread. Id like to see some of you trying your hand at customising it. There are 3 huge areas that are totally void of all solar stuff you can experiement with. The main base only is nearly 50k from end to end anyway with 8 traditonal bases in it that can house 24 brand new ships if you have 24 to add to freelancer.

You can download the Ringworld Addon V1 from my website or LR once they post it.

Excellent work Giskard, now to figure out how to set the encounters where and when i want them. I plan on making all the factions available in the system for one heck of a free for all.

You may need to setup bribes for that on the zoner base. I can help you out there if you need it. Also with the encounters. Just post if do need help.

errr... if someones doing anything with the mod, can i do something? i dont have a CLUE how to do anything in the mod itself, but im filled with ideas in stuff like how much ships cost. Ill go to a shop in the normal freelancer game to see how much they would normally cost. Or if you want it to be a sorta cheat, you can just make a ship worth 1$ its up to whoevers in charge. Oh, I think some credit to Griskard should be made. (somehow)

Hey giskard, I've been busy recently building new toys to put into the FL universe. I believe you've seen some of them already. If you like, i could send you the models of the newer ones. Please email me if you do. Haven't had that much time to build mods since i was tweaking the ships to match their performance. Do you think we can work together on this one? Most of the ships are already entering the final phases of development and are more or less ready for flight testing.

I get tons and remembering who is who when the forum name differs from the email name and email addy name doesnt match any of the above is a pain.

I know DM is Jan and Eikeuk is Kendo and that dave is dave lol but there the only ones i remember. Please dont tell me your one of those because that would just confuse me even more hehehe.

Well Ringworld is in Hostile Universe Version 7. My version is private and will change considerable over time but right now its very similar to the public version.

Uh...I'm Lazy and inexperienced in adding jumpholes.

Can you tell me how to make the jumphole to Ringworld appear close to the Manhattan docking ring.

Also can you tell me how to make the full map avalable at the start of the game.

I'm building a mod for multiplayer use.

Oh GOD, don't even bother to answer my question, After looking at ALL the files I see it would be a nightmare to even explain it to me. I'm going to just put a jumphole from Manhattan to the RingWorld default jumphole. Surely I can figure out how to do that! Please pardon my laziness.
