On a not so totally different note:

A Longsword Bomber from Halo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!






see those missile pods? im gonna put proably 2-4 torpedo launchers in each, and then probably 2 gun/missile hardpoints on each side of the hull. maybe a turret if i feel its necessary.

commments, concerns? all welcome

ug, i cant seem to get the ship installed. i sent it to this one guy, hopefully he'll answer me soon. of course, if anyone else would be kind enough to try, itd be great.

Wassup, is that the darkfighter you were talking about? If so, do you mind if i incorporate it into the javelin cruiser mod? The fighters in the game are kind of lacking in heavy bomber support.

Darn it. I keep getting people's nicks all confused with who did what now. As for the bomber, sure i'll see what i can do to stick it inside. Could you send me the ms3d version though along with the textures? That way i can fine tune it and oversee the installation process then on.

p.s. I was thinking of having to build a heavy bomber anyway but this solves me the problem of having to start from scratch.

i sent you the milkshape file, mat file, sur file, and cmp. i think the cmp file has been getting corrupted. either way, thats what the milkshape and mat files are for

I tested the milkshape file and converted from scratch. Looks like the problem is with the model itself. Too many faces that aren't polygons i believe. I could be wrong but the whole model looks like it has to be redone from scratch since i tried replacing just the model of a ship with the longsword and the game crashed. Its not that something is missing since i filled up all the needed areas. I will try to rebuild the longsword using 3dsmax from scratch but this will take a lot of time. Sorry but i don't think i can finish it anytime soon though.

dude, ALL thw faces are 3d faces, which i believe are polygons. gah, dmna modelling programs. they piss me off.

wanderer, is it likely you'll be done before 10:30 thursday? thats an hour before im leaving, and that would be probably the latest i could get it and send it to lancersreactor. dont worry about it being an flmod. just send me the ini files. also, make sure its separate from your mod so that i can send it separate. then you can include it if you wish.

I will do what i can. I use 3dsmax so it shouldn't be a problem in the conversion process. I'll see what i can do to finish it within 36 or so hours.
