Backing up..
Soon I might need to wipe my hard drive clean... How do I back up my game files so far.. cause i wont reinstall windows unless i ahve it backed up... Is it possible?

Saved game files and the PerfOptions.ini file are in My Documents\My Games\Freelancer
Ini files are located in the DATA and EXE folders under Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer (or wherever you installed the game to). Don't just copy the entire folders--that's 800+ MB of stuff you don't need to back up--just back up any edited ini files (or all of the inis if you prefer). Also include any edited .cmp, .3db, and .mat files in the backup.
And don't forget any downloaded mods, tools, or tutorials. Of course you could also come back to www.lancersreactor.com and download them again.
I think that's about it.
