Ever wonder why you reinstall freelancer and you still dun get a new ID account?
Reason: The game reads your harddisk serial number and encoded it into a form of an ID account number for you. That is why each time you reinstall the game, the account number generated will not change.

Don´t you think this would be a nearly perfect solution for cheaters to get back on a server where their first account ID has already been banned?

I´m glad the method I described somewhere else in this forum didn´t work. The idea of possible misuse by cheaters came alot later
