NEW WEAPON PROBLEM

I imported new weapon models and made files necessary and I can buy that weapon but it does not show up and it does not fire.

Here is what I did.

1. Made gun in doga and exported it to .dxf file.
2. Imported that file into milkshape and added hard points HpConnect and HpFire01. Exported to .cmp and placed the file in data/equipment\models\weapons.
3. Added new weapon in weapon_equip

I dont see any error in the weapon example shown. I would suspect a bad graphic file

Well I found what the problem was. I did not name parts in milkshape, you know

b_gun1_base_lod1021203105342
b_gun1_barrel_lod1021203105342

and gun was too small and it fired once every 5 seconds. So now everything works just fine.

New problem, gun only fires down.

Don't forget the revolute settings that other turrets have. Its used to allow for pitch. And by the way, what new weapons models were you using?

Its just a test model. After I figure out what to do I will import real ones.
