initial mp server settings...?

Me and a friend are wanting to start a server possible for a LAN.

First off both of us had played on different servers and unfortunately both servers disappeared and we had lost all our work. Now we are both having to start over.. and don't exactly want to have to do so much work to get all of our money back. So.. my question is how do edit the initial amount of money a player starts with. I know how to do factions but changing the amount of funds seems to be avoid me.

Hi, all you need to do is go into your character folder in freelancer and edit the newcharacter.ini file there, to what ever starting amount you want.

you will find it here if you used the default install setting :

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\CHARACTERS
