Nomad Mod

Im working on creating a mod that allows ALL nomad ships to be bought at manhatten

all i need to finish this is the hardpoints for the nomad gunship
also if i can get it working i MIGHT beable to include working cloak in it but since someone wont give me how to make cloak as hardware its very unlikely

to make this mode serverside all u need is shiparch.ini

well since no one knows how to cloak...

but my suggestion from another thread (although i haven't tried it):

maybe make the files for cloaking an flmod (just specifically for your ship). when you want to cloak, minimize freelancer (probably a good idea to pause at the same time) and activate the mod. when you want to decloak, pause it again, and then deactivate the mod. im sure this may take away some of the cool effects and animations, but it would be a start. note that i ahve not tested it yet, as i suck at modding stats and stuff, and im not sure mod manager would work if freelancer were open.

There is just one problem with ur idea...
the game reads the files BEFORE u start so it is less likely to crash and implements them there...this has been done for many years for it speeds up the game by not haveing to read files all over again

MY idea is to make the cloak a weapon so when u fire it one time...it cloaks...fire it a second...it decloaks

in the ini it looks like the claok is a toggle but i need to have how someone made it a equipment so i can turn it into a weap
