i can only assume you have never really looked around the LancersReactor site as all the bits necessary to do this are here.

try this

it is a .shp (starlancer ship format) importer to milkshape. then follow any of the tutorials about how to get a ship ready/exported and into freelancer, now that you have your basic milkshape model.

this is a post from another thread (you do know how to search dont you?) it is about the bmp texture for starlancer ships and how to get it into frelancer format to be added to your mat file (and if you do a little sideways thinking you will do this conversion step first as to get your texture for milkshape :-) ).

I have converted quite a few of the old SL ships to FL. You must convert the bmp to a 24 bit TGA file then import that into your mat file. One thing to remember is to flip the file vertically before you import it into your mat or your skins look wrong.

ok that is as far as i can see on how you do it (i have never tried this (it would mean me hunting down my starlancer cd's) it just seems the easiest way and to find all this information it took 10 mins and a little thought)
