loaded model in FL, keeps crashing now :S

I tryed to load a modle into freelancer. First it crahes afther buying it and laucnhing to space.

So thought i screwed up the model or semething. So I did the borg sphere tutorial step by step with a sphere model en textures.
Now the game crashes at the buy ship screen :S

So I followd the mod in this forum (lightwave 3d to FL) and iI keep crashing at the buy ship screen.

With crashing I mean shooting into windows and getting a report error from win xp.

Does someon know what I am doing wrong?

Not sure if could be the problem but check your mat file, in my case the .tga file I used was not ok therefore game crashed when I click on the ship in ship dealer.

i have had the same prob but with the tie fighter mods and stuff it always crashes and i dunno why

I've created like 10 new mat files and suddenly it worked :S

Must have missed something.
