Gun to flashy

I like the specs of the guns I am using but the light effects are just too much. Makes it difficult to see your target crosshairs. I am assuming that I can change the effects by changing a file which is used for the effects. Can someone tell me which line in which .ini file do I need to change.

you need to modify weapon_good.ini and weapon_equip.ini. Find a weapon that has effects you like and substitute those lines. If you examine these files uncompressed, it will be pretty obvious which lines need to be changed. There are two in weapons_good and about 3 or 4 in weapon_equip depending on which weapon you want to modify. You can also change weapon damage rating and prices in these two files.
