Ok, so I'm writing the ini entries for my new ship and I go to the Zen forum thing that's posted somewhere here (very good, btw). I got to the weapons and shield code and I saw this

This is the Anubis code, not modified as far as I know. What's up with the dual torpedos at the end there? Do I have to have both? Or do I need two for every one hardpoint? Also on the basic guns, why are they all the same except for the hardpoint #? And the shields too? What's up with having 6 shields??

I want to make a ship that has all of its hardpoints at level 10, 4 torpedos/CDs, and a CM launcher (no mines, since I don't use 'em). What do I need to put to get that?

the two topedos att he bottom make the sunslayer and the other torpedo fittable on ur anubis. i would keep both

Ok. Lets take a look at that Anubis again. Actually, any of the ships will do from shiparch.ini.

hp_type = hp_gun_special_6 <- says this can have level 6 guns.
hp_type = hp_gun_special_6, HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02 <- says level 6 guns on weapon hardpoints 1 & 2.

So the Anubis listing (li_elite2) says it can have level 1-6 guns on weapon hardpoints 1-5.

Same thing with the shield, but only one hardpoint (level 1-6 shields on hpShield01)

Same thing with the torpedoes, level 1 & 2 torps on the singlular torp slot.

Still not clear, just ask more as I realize I'm still only on my first cup of coffee.
