Is there anyway to make the hail worth while? My friend and I are interested in putting up a server. We want players to be able to play as pirates if they want to. We were thinking that if you could hail freighter convoys you could give the computer the option to dump cargo and live. Or for non pirates you could hireon with a convoy for escort duty.

So is it possible to do somthing like this through the hail function? Can you popup a menu when you hail with some options to send in the hail?

Another thought related to the pirates. Is there a way to setup so that if you attack a freighter it can call for help from the local police? So if you don't destroy the whole convoy in a certian time frame more fighters will come to their aid?
