How to make guns not move

in just weapon_equip.ini change this in turn_rate = 90 to this turn_rate = 0 Have fun all

Couldn't you just make the hardpoints fixed instead, on whatever you wanted?

Good to know this, making the gun hardpoints fixed only made the guns able rotate 360 degrees on my ship.

Hi all No the gun still has a 30* cone of fireing all it does is stop the guns from waveing all over the place when in turret view

And it would invoke something Microsoft so kindly removed from the game... skill. The turrets could still pivot, it's just the main guns that wouldn't. That's actually a rather good idea.
