Bug With SP and all "Ship" mods
Hey all,
I'm sending this information out as a "crash" notice. I've done extensive testing with Mods and have come to the conclusion that there is a bug in existance when your using ship mods and FLMM. If, at any point, you've been playing single player with a ship mod, and now wish to remove that mod, you need to do the following.
1. Ensure that you have the mod active.
2. Purchase a non-mod ship. (this will overwrite the AutoSave with valid info)
3. Delete any Saved Games that occoured while you had the ship.
4. Exit Freelancer COMPLETELY and remove the mod.
5. Start Freelancer back up and load your most recent saved game.
If you fail to overwrite the Autosave, with a ship that isn't contained in that mod, then when you try to start up Freelancer after removing the mod you will simply crash to the desktop when it should bring you to the menu screen.
Just as a slight recap on the problem;
Freelancer will crash on the main menu if you have a SP saved game with a ship mod that isn't active. (It dosn't matter if you intended on playing multiplayer, it crashes before giving you that option).
