Amount of energy a ship has

I read the post at the top, and I wasn't sure if this fell anywhere under there, probably did.

Just wondering if/how you edit the amount of energy each ship has so that it doesn't drain its weapons in about 5 seconds. (I'm changing the Defender.)

well you could give it the powerplant out of an eagle or a titan by altering the ship package in the goods.ini so when you bought a new one it had more "oomph"
or you could modify the weapons energy usage i suppose - but thats likely to take longer and be more of a pain.

Well I didn't want it to be ridiculously powerful. I was thinking something more like the level of a Banshee... *goes off to test*

well this is farely simple, i bet this is what u were hoping to hear, that is if u know how to open the files im assuming correct? ok good this is what u need to do
open up misc_equip.ini
search for nickname = li_elite_power01 (this is the defender)
replace that whole section for the defender with this you will have infinite power hehe no recharging but if you dont want infinite power just change charge rate to a lower number i also chnaged the power altogether so itll basically have more power than a titan
