Incom T-65 X-Wing for sale (only 999,999,999 miles on the cl

Got kind of tired of seeing all those beautiful TIEs going around unchallenged
So i fired up max to make its counterpart.

You need to first download Freelancer Mod Manager
the mod installer program and then
Instalation of the X-Wing is easy.

omfg, if you don't throw in with the star wars mod i swear i'll find you :-)

seriously though, that is a GREAT model. please consider joining the star wars mod team!

with your skills added to the skills of the modellers that are already working, this mod would be awesome!

about the nosecone: its too sloped. elongate it a bit, or make it less sloping downward if you can.

about the engine nascelles: they aren't long enough. if possible, make them a tiny bit longer.

of course those are only minor (almost invisible) details. if you like it, ignore this lol

ok i tested it. the textures are really f'ed up. don't show up at all. gotta fix that. also, if you join up with the star wars modders, you will have to make the lasers fixed, or only VERY slightly moveable. but i can see that the lasers aren't boxy. thats just the guns.

unless my fl is really messed up.......

BIG PROBLEM

along wiht bad textures, flmm doesn't let you uninstall it or deactivate it without restoring backup files.

...unless my flmm is messed up....

when you fix those issues, it should be a great ship

so i take it it worked for you?

so why do the textures not work for me? and why doesn't it deactivate thru flmm? it had a conflict with the TIE mod, and now flmm seems to be messed up for me.

ick i need help fixing this stuff

about the conflict.

as the xwing mod and the tie mod edit the same ini files because there both ship
mods there naturaly is a conflict. Its possibil to get over this however by
manualy combining the information in the 2 script.xml files and the 2 folders
Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\TIE_pack
Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\FCXwing

I would be willing to do this my self and offer it for download but not without
rapid's consent.

about the texturs being screwd up

I cant replicate this . Maybe your download was curropt.
does this happin to anyone else?

about deleting the mod
because this mod modifys the infocard.dll file you can not delete it untill you have stopped running freelancer for at least 30 seconds then it should delete fine.

about the cosmetics
You could be right but then again there were seirous differences between the models from the origanal films.

owwwie i think my download might have been corrupted, both of them. i downloaded twice, and both times same problem.

i reinstalled fl, but flmm still said that the TIE mod was activated. should i reinstall flmm too?

i hope you would consider helping out with the star wars mod.

yes but can i use them on my server and ive only seen 1 in bab5mod and im sure i cant just take it a use without permission,i have asked no reply

if you want cobalt, you can send the ship models and specs to me and i will put it into the package that i am working on right now. I think i also got some spare NPC encouters setup and i can make NPC encounters for it as well. And i will release it along with all other ships we got (GAG got more coming as well and the gun boat is on its way, while my bomber is in the shipyard and all the TIEs been modified and some parts re-textured)

Also, please contact me if you interested to work together on the SWTC models, i figure it would be better for one person to do all the incom class ships for model and texture consistancy amoung them. And i believe we can make the TIEs and Xwings far more interesting by having their stats match up againt one another in some way as well.

the xwings do look very nice.

Siddious, load FLMM and use Tools\Restore Backups. That will restore any backup files, and will reset the list of mods installed.
