Ship editing (linking stuff)

Help... I was wondering, I have edited everything now (almost) to do with a ship, I want to create a new engine / power unit, so that no one else (npc) who uses the same class of ship / same engine / power cells will have the increased speed from the engine I have modified or increased power that I have modified. If you know what I mean. Its like if you do the speed mod from FLMM, every ship really flies, I dont want that I just want to be really fast. Is there any information anywhere that says this class of ship uses this powerc ell / this engine / this shield. I cant find any information anywhere that ties up every ship with engines / power / etc. I hope you understand my ramblings. I have just read it back and Im clueless!!!

I don´t know exactly, what you mean, but try this

In this tutorial, you get the information, how you can change the speed, cargo space etc. of your ship.

Thanks, but I have changed almost every aspect of my ship. What I mean is.... where is the information that says the sabre / titan / whatever uses this power cell.... this engine..... this shield..... etc etc, I you where to add your own engine, where do you tell your ship to use that engine.

Look in goods.ini it tells you the current engine and you can easly replace it with another
