Medium Cargo Transport Mod Flight Dynamics

Hi everyone,

I've modded the game to make the medium transport flyable, with cargo pods and mooring capability too. However, the only problem I've run into is that the Up and Down mouse controls are inverted. Left and Right are fine, oddly enough. Below are my flight dynamics settings I've used. Please let me know if you have a fix or solution for this problem.

look into your fl options...perhaps there's "invert mouse" enabled...if not...I've no idea

I would also like to know how you got the pods to work. There's a large transport mod somewhere that allows you to ... fly the transport. But it only has 1 type of pods. Those of food rations I believe. Anyways, when you change the goods that are in there, nothing changes about the looks.
Altough I still don't get how it would work with 2 or more types of cargo on the same transport...

If the mouse is inverted in cockpit mode, its possible the cockpit is set upside down (I had a similar problem before).

For whomever revived this thread - put in the usual old two values for strafe force and strafe power usuage - that seems to clear the 'reverse controls' problem

As for the cargo pod - i am assuming (not tried this i admit) that you need to put this into your goods package in the goods.ini
hp_type = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo01, HpCargo02, HpCargo03, HpCargo04
in the form of
addon = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo01
addon = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo02
addon = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo03
addon = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo04
or whatever the nickname for the cargo pod is (i have no clue - i haven;t bothered looking (that is instead of hp_cargo_pod that is!))

Christ - I have edited that post twice now and it doesn't bloody do it - so here is what you add to the bottom of your goods.ini package for teh train/transport:
addon = cargopod_red, hpcargo01
addon = cargopod_red, hpcargo02
addon = cargopod_red, hpcargo03
addon = cargopod_red, hpcargo04

Voila - you get three nice red cargo pods attached to the ship when you buy it

The controls are inverted probably because of this setting:
type = TRANSPORT
Change it to type = FREIGHTER to get it working right.

That is strange...always had mine set to freighter and still got inverted steering till i added those two lines i mentioned.......hmm - puzzle. Mind you - weird stuff has been happening to my mods recently!
