does anyone know how to create encounters with custom ships?

does anyone know how to create encounters with custom ships? i have been using the tie mod on my server, and people would love to fight them..i have managed to replace one of the existing ship models, and modified the loadout so that ties can be fought against, but ideally i would like to be able to create a new encounter which uses a tiefighter loadout (rather than an existing ship being modified). i've looked into this problem for a few hours and have hit a block..can any of you help? thanks in advance

Well...that sure was a stupid post Bale. Damn noobs. Decado: Interesting Idea...I'm sure if you find out how to do regular encounters and then just change the name it should work, but this is just speculation.

i can add normal encounters, & have been trying to build from there..

i added that encounter to a new system, and it worked fine, so i looked at area_scavenger.ini, which is as follows

ship_by_class = 1, 1, sc_fighters
pilot_job = scavenger_job
make_class = wanderer
formation_by_class = fighters
behavior = wander
arrival = all
allow_simultaneous_creation = yes
zone_creation_distance = 0
times_to_create = infinite

[Creation
permutation = 0, 5

the problem i have is this ship_by_class = 1, 1, sc_fighters i cant find sc_fighters anywhere else, and i think thats probly where i need to set the model i want to use

anyone else looked at or looking into this?

lol @ himself just realised that we now have special forums for tutorials, found something there that looks like it should help me...its amazing the things u can miss when ur not around for a week :X
