FLMM, Player characters & mod restrictions.

Hello.

I'd like to know what is required in a mod for it to work with the Freelancer mod manager (if anything) ?

Also, what do i need to do to make sure the players online do not have to create a new character each time I make updates to a mod or mod the existing freelancer game ?

I wish to avoid forcing the player to recreate his character because I may be developing my own universe over a long period of time and I'd like the player to be able to continue exploring the universe with his old character in the mean time.

Finally, does anybody know what definately cannot be done in a mod ?
EG the games own restrictions ?

FLMM includes a detailed document on how to make mods work with it; load FLMM and go to "Help\How Do I"

To be honest I have been too busy reading the guides for systems, ships and other things to even consider you may have actually included that information in your own help files. :/

Amazingly enough, most programers dont.

Not for these sort of tools.
