A challenge to Modders

I am a big Freelancer fan. I have found a problem that makes my life very difficult during combat. I have trouble seeing the red that is used to identify the enemy. In particular, the 'lead indicator'. There's not much point having firepower if you don't know where to put it to make it count.

The challenge: Find a way to change the colour of either, or both, the enemy identification and lead indicator to something brighter - say Yellow.

Thanks,
A battered freighter pilot.

Increase your monitor brightness or game gamma in the options menu

Hell yes,

This is something that vexes me also, it is quite confusing and annoying in the thick of battle!!!

Wish there was an option like the one Freespace 2 had where you could colour whatever part of the hud in whatever colour you wanted and as bright as you wanted too!

But a yellow lead indicator would be more than sufficient for me!!!

Ever consider that some players may be colorblind? Gamma doesn't help with that.

I think the hud color is hardcoded somewhere in the exe, have fun with some HEX

Thankyou Melancholy Joker!

That was going to be my exact point - I am colour deficent in Red. I am having trouble seeing it because I always have trouble seeing red.
