Animation Questions

Hey all,

As you could see in my "Issues with INI files" topic I'm working on making a Star Wars Lambda class shuttle. Here's the topic incase anyone wants to check it out, there are a couple of image references there too;

Anyway, I've been flying it around for a while with a few bugs to work out like the ability to sustain any hit (due to non-completed colision info) and I've been pondering a docking animation. Now, in 3DS Max I can easily make the wing-raise animation but was wondering if there is a way I can incorporate that into the docking procedure. So when you dock at a station, or planet, the two lower fins will raise into their landing positions.

Please note, if you lend code to solve the problem I will place a note crediting the work to you.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

As well, I just want to add that if all works out well with my Lambda shuttle I'll have a little treat for you transport captains. The next design I'm going to work on will be the, rather large, transport as seen in SW EP2. I already have the model done, as you can see, and just have to do the coding and placement of weapons/etc.

Have a good one, and thanks for any help you can give with my animation question!

That's great, but that model is too detailed for anything but pre-rendered cutscenes. Try to scale it back a bit.
