Anyone found/made a Game Save Editor for Freelancer?

Well, you're all gonna throw things at me... or if you prefer to act like howler monkeys and... yeah well anyway you get the picture. To the point: I used a trainer to get that nice, cool new ship, you know? And well... I can't level up anymore because I got like $115 million credits and I am on level 6... Now the darned game tells me the next level up is a billion credits... now that's a problem. If some ultra-god game guru master supreme can help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Yeah yeah I know the trainers say "use at your own risk..." blah blah blah... It takes this old-timer a looooong while to get anywhere in the game and my old brain has a very short learning curve. At any rate, a reply here would be okay but a reply to my email would be better. I have a hard time remembering where I put things and how to work things...

I used a trainer to get that new cool ship on a new planet...

If you want the cool ships, just mod shiparch.ini and market_ships.ini and put them on sale in Manhatten for 1 credit at level zero. It is very easy to do.

Dont use a hack... You go around sayin "oh yeah I got a cool ship n all" but we all got "cool" ships because we earned it with hard work. Dont ask about char editors here, you will get insulted, shunned, and most of all you will gain no respect at all!

Some of you think mmerggai gives a poopie about respect and "earning" cool ships. The guy just wants to have fun with the game in his own albiet different way, but give the guy a break. I personally think hacking your money will fix you up. But then hey, if you beg enough, people will email you saved games with all the uberness you could dream of.
