Alright these MAT files have me stumped
How do you determine what texture inside the mat file is used for what part of what ship? For example I extraced elite_256 from LI_playerships, and painted the whole thing blue, when I put it back in and look at my Hamerhead in the game only parts of it are blue. So I look for other textures in Li_playerships with features that appear on the hammerhead, find that Liberty1 looks like it might go there, so I paint that red and import that into li_playerships, but when I check in game its still just some blue, and lots of the old texture.
So I know I'm missing some key concept here, I just don't know what.
