Making all equipment/ship buyable at any level

Now, before you flame me has a cheater, let me explain please.

I know that the developper did this for a purpose. It is meant to keep low level from using high level weaponry. But I just don't like the way it was implemented. Using a weapon on a ship doesn't experience in my opinion. Especially in space.

If they wanted to make weapon usable by experience, it should have been by doing a skill system. Use more laser weapons and your skill upgrades. Then you can use better laser weapons. Same thing for Plasma, Tachyon and others.

But since this is probably hardcoded in the game, I have to use a simple solution. All weapons and ship should be buyable at level 1. At least all weapons. You would still have the ship's hardpoints to restrict you then.

Anyone agrees with me? If I do this, should I raise the price on all weapons?

Change the req levels to level 1 but increase the price, alot, since it's rather easy to make a nice amount of money in a single trade run.
