Cowboy bebop (spikes ship model shots)

I have someone whos going to skin it and put it in the game but I want some feed back. i might consider others to skin it to, but i want to talk with the guy whos skinning it first.

Outstanding, can't wait to see it in the game. Are you planning on doing the other bebop ships?

if all goes well yes i will. I am also thinking about makeing a bebop mod of some sort but i need poeple. but thats a little down the line when everyones played it a bit more.
and stats im thinking might be like
light fighter
class 10 everything
i think like only 2 gun mounts ( possably 3 for a missle launcher)
chaft
shields bat/nano like 30 ish
cargo like 10 ( what to you expect there like no room for cargo)
hull some ware in the 6000-7000 ( i dont know i might need feed back for that)
price i dont know about that.

i would really like some feed back on what you guys think.

Nice work. Always wanted to see Bebop. Nose looks a bit funny, but that's all right.

For reality you might not want to have shields and nanobots. Just put the armor up a lot.

There is a mod out that, I think, will make the missiles shoot out faster or something like that to be more like CB.

Havikar i might be wrong but did the ship have i plasma cannon and 4 wing guns plus missile as i was modeling the redtale (red something) some time ago in lightwave and that was one of the ship i was going to do but i could not find any good pic of it

The plasma cannon is on the bottem the big fn gun.
i belive it had 2 machine guns in the middle of the wings.
And he really didnt ever use his missles tho they do fire from the side of the wings but sence you can carry a whole bunch of missiles i thought it would be better to have just like a torpedo and speed that up sence the torpedo ammo is expencive and i dont remember how meny you can carry.
and if i could I would have the plasma cannon work but i would have no idea how to.

the no shield thing might be good tho. i might do a shield and no shield version

u can do the plasma cannon if u take the weapon from one of bases i will make it and send u a screen shot of what i mean it might work

This is what i mean for the center cannon make it have high power use and slow fire rate say a damage of 800 with a range of 900+

The guy whos skinning it now is going to try and make the big gun on the bottem buy able and have it a weapon.

The Swordfish's front cannon shoots a full beam, wolfman.

And the wing guns need to be hid somehow or it won't look right, just like the TIE fighter doesn't.

I don't think you can hide weapons, you just create hardpoints, the game puts the weapons on. Also while I think it's 2 machine guns you might want to make it 4, 2 on the bottom of the wings, and two on the top. Right above each other. It takes forever to kill something with two guns, and if you play MP you get slaughtered by people with Anubis's that have 30 freakin hardpoints.

2: I know but untill we can make a full beam that works and looks like a beam for the Swordfish's front cannon this will do as i have made a eneagy cannon that uses ammo and all u need to do to fire it is just press the key u use to fire the torpeods.

grayfox: Someone posted making hard points inside the model of big ships, but even that won't work here. So maybe someone could make a .cmp that has no visible gun model in it to hide the guns and see if that works. I'm just saying the way it is now on small ships looks silly.

wolfman: I and others here can already make beam weapons. There is a tutorial post on it. Make sure you also check out changing the weapons in beam_weapons.ini from [BeamSpear to [BeamBolt, too.

And does anyone know if this -> "Hp/Revolute/HpWeapon01" means the gun can do a 360? Then this "Hp/Fixed/HpWeapons01" would make it just shoot straight, right? A LOT of ships need realistic "fixed" guns and HCI's readme only shows Revolute.

The ship is going fine. The models done and the guy whos skinning it says he doesnt have alot of time on his hands but he is working on it so. If anyone else wants to do it i said there more then welcome to they just need to post here saying they want to and i will send them the model. Or they can get a hold of me on
