ID of all object Database

Hi all,

Just wanted to tell you that I am currently doing a DB with all the info on the IDs that's been posted on this site. Just wondering if you would like to have the file here, cause I find it really practical for quick search and it also eliminate the dublons.

Er.. manners.. right. Yes, I believe a lot of people would find that indespensible. What format is it in? If you don't have web space, I can host it.

It will be in .mdb format most probably... although if I can figure out how developper works, I might be able to make a install and even people without Access will be able to use it.

for your deployment to many users problem; look into MSDE... Some Articles to look at:

MSDE packaging will enable you to deploy something originally developed with MSAccess or SQLServer in a way that's portible (though clients would have to install the MSDE from MS - but at least thats free).

I havent worked directly with that, mostly I do MSVC windows application work professionally, and for friends via www.BugBully.com - but I've heard its useful.

Can you export it in CSV format and post a link? Everyone can read CSV... even my mom!

Ok... for now I'll probalby post it in .csv and .mdb.

But be warned that it's a lot easier to work with a mdb than a csv. I'll try to figure out how to deploy it once I get home and finish the DB.

Oh, just a little question.

For now I only have the ID and RealName in the DB. Would you people like a DB with all the info of the .ini? It will be longer but I can manage to do it.
