UTILITY: EASY freelancer mod installer - no script editing,

FLEDMM v0.1 is now available.

it's a freelancer mod installer. Got a mod? Got new dll's? custom dll's? lots of ini files you edited? install and run multiple freelancer mods with ease.

As a mod writer, just keep your files in the same data structure as the \data directory in freelancer. Write a simple .FLM file that contains the name of your mod and includes any NEWLY created dlls your mod requires.

That's it. Nice GUI interface to install and run mods. Always restores to your original FL. Simple, easy, effective. Check it out at

I've tested this on a few machines and it works great. The one sample mod avail for download is just the commodity tutorial.

Any mod writers out there have a mod that I can host?

Yet a THIRD mod installer that modders willl have to write stuff for...

Oh and thundersleese I guess all the mod makers should design their stuff for this and every other mod loader that comes out hmm? Do you know what it takes to make stuff compatible with different versions? Yep I sure love to write code, OVER AND OVER AND OVER!

QUIT MAKING THIS **** PEOPLE! You're only making more work for the modders because we have to make our rmods works with all the other crap out there else people will flame up the ass and whine like a baby!

Why don't you guys who make mod loaders just contact each other and work together? Things would go faster and you would have one program not three. So it would be easier on the modders.

Programmers don't usually do that. They love their code, like an painter loves his painting. I know that, being a programmer myself. It's like your baby. It's hard to let go.

and then came creative differences, and mankind sank into the abysmal war of the mod loaders.... narf...

just work out a standard format for the mod files IEE style.. sure it will take years but maybe it will be worth it...
