I''m bored. Any requests?

Anyone have any mod requests they want me to fill? I finished my current project so im looking for something to do. Maybe i should do hw... nah

Actually, yes Genius.


Idea #1:

I'd love a Rhino platformed Millenium Falcon like freighter that could carry 500 units of cargo, was quick and could turn like a light fighter (Cause the Millenium Falcon could perform as well as Tie Fighters).

Further, I'd like it to be loaded out for bear with as many level 10 hardpoint as you could stuff on to that hull.

Also, how about an ice cream maker? (Just kidding).

Idea #2:
Since Hyper Gates aren't enabled in SP...could a modification be done to the Trade Lanes so that it takes me roughly 10 seconds to reach the end of it instead of 2 minutes?

oh sorry. I forgot to tell you, i cant add new ship models. I can add in existing ships which arent available to player (like the large train). I can also make them not crash MP... most of the time.

That's cool, Genius.

Was just saying that you could use the Rhino and make it perform LIKE the Millenium Falcon, load that bad dog out with level 10 weapons, having a humongous carrying capacity and have it agile as a light fighter.

A modthat allows you to change Trent clothes. An example would be make him look like Darth Vader.

How about making a Trade Lane all by itself so you just enter and when you feel like exiting the trade lane, all you do is hit the "Esc" button? When I say all by itself I mean that there is only the opening, no exit or other gates.

Heres an idea that might be possible if you have alot of time

Make all capital ships for a house flyable at that houses capital for example: Rhienland battle ship, cruiser and gunboat availible at New Berlin or Kusari battleship availible at New Tokyo

And use wanderers moor fix in his Tutorial for moors

Simulate Economy Price Flucuations using a Memory Editor turned 'Trainer'.

I used a memory editor while EXE was running, I can change the 900+ stored places where commodity goods prices reside (after read in from initial goods.ini) to change the commodity prices on the fly WHILE the FL EXE is RUNNING!

I have little C++ skill, modify this simple memory editor program (have original open source code from author freeware) into a trainer to run along side of EXE at same time to randomly change prices while game is running!...

Can you do this? I place great confidence in your abilities...

Hmm maybe you can help me, I've just started modding and Im trying to make a Normad Fighter flyable maybe you can help me on that??
Actually Ive made it flyable...it just sucks, because I cant fire wapons or use my shields.....D4mn!

.....And like that.....hes gone!

Do you think you might be able to create a selection of alternative starting locations/characters/ships? Both for MP and SP this would be nice (although for SP the starting location probably would have to be the same in order to not brak the plot...)

Eg., the player start as a Liberty Rogue, a Junker, a Rhineland merchant, a Kuzari bounty huntress, etc. each with different starting ship, level, relations and especially looks. I honestly can't stand Trent's face, and to fight alongside an army of Trents in MP gives me the shivers... :O

You can change trent's appearance by renaming the various files in data/character/heads and data/character/bodies. I think his head is pl_male_pirate5 or something along those lines. I'm having fun running around the sector as Tobias or the manhatten bartender.

I know you can do that. However, I don't want to have to fiddle around with my .inis everytime I start the game - a mod would be much welcome for that

Still, a character generator would be really nice, where you could match heads and bodies, even allowing female players, create custom skins... *sigh*. Well, I guess this can't be done, though. And as there are no subtitles to dialogues (alas to the hearing impaired!), you'd need to rerecord Trent's speech files if you didn't want your female player to sound *very* masculine
